Who is responsible
Lucentive Labs Ltd is responsible for personal data handled through lucentive.io. Its registered office and company details are listed in the Imprint.
This notice covers the public umbrella website and contact requests sent through it. It does not describe data handling inside a Lucentive product. Questions can be sent to hello@lucentive.io.
Data handled by this website
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, selected topic, and message. We also use the request IP address for rate limiting and process basic request information needed to deliver and secure the site.
Public umbrella pages do not use advertising cookies. Protected routes may use access cookies, and site navigation may use short-lived browser session storage.
We receive contact details directly from you. Request and security information is generated when your browser connects to the site.
Why the data is used
We use contact data to route and respond to the request, keep a record of the conversation, and protect the intake from abuse. We also process basic request information to deliver, maintain, and secure the website.
Name, email, topic, and message are required to submit the contact form. Without them, we cannot route or respond to the request. The website does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on visitors.
Legal bases
We rely on our legitimate interests to respond to messages, administer related records, operate the website, and protect the intake from abuse. When you ask about a possible engagement, we may process the request to take steps at your request before entering a contract. We may also retain or use limited records where necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We balance legitimate interests against the effect on the people whose data is involved. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests as described below.
Who receives the data
Vercel processes information needed to host, deliver, and secure the site. Convex processes contact-form information for the ticketing record used to route and respond to requests. Authorized Lucentive team members and service providers may access information only when needed for those purposes, legal obligations, or security.
We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.
How long data is kept
The contact route keeps recent IP-address events in server memory for about ten minutes to apply its rate limit. Contact tickets are kept while the request and reasonable follow-up are handled, and longer only when a business, security, or legal record is still needed. We review those records and delete or anonymize them when that need ends.
Hosting and security logs follow the configured and contractual retention periods of the relevant provider. Exact periods can vary with the type of log, security need, and legal requirement.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where the destination is not covered by an adequacy decision, the transfer must use an approved safeguard such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may ask us for more information about the safeguard that applies.
Your data rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send a request to hello@lucentive.io. We may ask for limited information to verify identity before acting on a request.
We generally respond within one month. The period may be extended where a request is complex or numerous, as permitted by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or the data-protection authority where you live or work.
