Core · Open role

Make the public voice answer to the proof.

You own Lucentive's voice across web, social, decks, and partner materials. Everything you publish has to be backed by what actually happened, not hype.

Remote-first · EU / CET overlap · Contract or full-time

Mission

What the role does and why it matters here.

You make Lucentive's public surfaces sound like one accountable company without flattening the work into one pitch. You own the umbrella voice across web, social, decks, and the language a partner reads before they've spoken to anyone. The standard is proof over adjectives: what shipped, what worked, what a reader can verify. You write it, edit what others write, and say no to copy that doesn't meet the bar.

Responsibilities

What you would own.

Own voice across surfaces

Own voice and tone across the umbrella site, pillar pages, and social: coherent enough to feel Lucentive, distinct enough that each pillar still sounds like itself.

Write and edit core copy

Write and edit core copy: landing pages, case narratives, announcements, and the language that introduces a new engagement or venture.

Run the social rhythm

Run the social content rhythm across Lucentive's channels: what gets posted, in what voice, for which pillar, and why.

Enforce the proof-first standard

Build and enforce the proof-first standard, copy that names what happened, not copy that names what it hopes people believe.

Turn work into stories

Partner with each pillar's operators to turn real work (an engagement, a launch, a shipped feature) into a story worth publishing.

Maintain the brand guardrails

Maintain the brand system's written guardrails so the voice survives contact with someone other than you writing it.

How you think and work

Six traits the work demands.

Pedigree isn't the filter. Disposition is. The six traits below are what the work actually asks of you.

  1. Agentic intuition

You read agents the way a manager reads a direct report: when to trust the output, when to interrupt the run, when to take the wheel back.

You know when an AI-drafted post is ready to publish and when the voice is close enough to fool a skim but not a careful read.

  2. Critical thinking

Confident-sounding output gets the same scrutiny as anything else, your own work included.

You've killed a headline that tested well because it made a claim the work underneath it couldn't back up.

  3. Curiosity

You pull on threads. You read outside the lane. You follow a question past the first plausible answer.

You read the engagement notes yourself instead of asking someone to summarize what happened before you write about it.

  4. Agency

You move without being told. You decide, ship, own the call. No one has to write the playbook for you.

You've published the post that needed to exist before anyone asked for a content calendar.

  5. Systems thinking, long view

You see how the parts connect, and where this goes in three years.

You write today's launch copy knowing it has to still sound true after the pillar it describes has grown past it.

  6. Leadership instinct

You orchestrate work across humans, agents, and stakeholders. You switch register between a workspace ticket, an architect call, and a senior bank room in the same day without losing what you came in to say.

You keep Lucentive's voice coherent across a Labs early-proof writeup, a Studios launch, and a Systems case narrative in the same week.

Useful background

  • You have owned brand voice or content for a company across more than one channel (site, social, decks) and kept it consistent under pace.
  • You write copy that reads as sober and specific, and you can point to work where you cut the hype line rather than keep it.
  • You turn someone else's raw update (a shipped feature, a closed deal) into a story a stranger would want to read.
  • You edit other people's writing without erasing their voice.
  • You can switch between distinct brand registers without collapsing them into one.
  • You've built or maintained a brand voice guide that other writers actually used.
  • You've run social growth for a B2B or venture-adjacent brand, not just a consumer one.
  • You've written for a technical or enterprise audience without dumbing it down or losing them.

Pedigree in your exact field isn't the filter. The disposition above is.
