Spaces & Estates · Open role

Own the guest journey end to end.

You own the whole arc: the first exchange, the details arranged before anyone lands, the mid-stay requests, the follow-through after they've gone. You manage the relationships that make a stay feel effortless, even though almost none of it is.

Mission

What the role does and why it matters here.

At Lucentive Spaces' sanctuaries on the Portuguese coast, the guest experience starts before arrival and doesn't end at departure. As Concierge & Guest Experience you own that whole arc: the first exchange, the details arranged before anyone lands, the requests that come up mid-stay, and the follow-through after they've gone. You manage the relationships that make a stay feel effortless from the guest's side, even though almost none of it actually is.

Responsibilities

What you would own.

Manage guest communication

Manage guest communication end to end, from first inquiry through post-stay follow-up.

Coordinate bookings and arrivals

Coordinate bookings, arrival logistics, and any special arrangements ahead of a guest's stay.

Build local partnerships

Build and maintain local partnerships (drivers, restaurants, activities, specialists) that make requests easy to fulfill.

Handle in-stay requests

Handle in-stay requests, from the routine to the unusual, with the same composure either way.

Anticipate what guests need

Anticipate what a guest will likely need based on who they are and why they're staying, before they ask.

Deliver on booking promises

Work with the Estate Manager and household team so guest promises made at booking actually get delivered on-site.

Act on guest feedback

Gather and act on guest feedback to improve the next stay, not just log it.

How you think and work

Six traits the work demands.

Craft and hands-on experience matter here, and the useful background below names what we look for. But the filter underneath is disposition: the six traits are what the work actually asks of you, every day, around residents and guests.

  1. Agentic intuition

You read a room and the people in it the way a seasoned host does: you notice when something is off before it's said, and you know when to step in and when to leave well alone.

You read what a guest actually wants from what they didn't quite say, and arrange it before they'd have thought to ask.

  2. Critical thinking

Confident-sounding output gets the same scrutiny as anything else, your own work included.

When a guest's request would create a problem down the line, you solve the real need a different way instead of just saying yes.

  3. Curiosity

You pull on threads. You read outside the lane. You follow a question past the first plausible answer.

You keep finding new local partners and experiences instead of routing every guest to the same three options.

  4. Agency

You move without being told. You decide, ship, own the call. No one has to write the playbook for you.

You've committed to a solution for a guest on the spot because checking in with someone else would have cost the moment.

  5. Systems thinking, long view

You see how the parts connect, and where this goes in three years.

You build partnerships and playbooks that make the next guest easier too, not just this one.

  6. Leadership instinct

You set a clear standard for the people around you and maintain it under pressure, moving between a guest, a vendor, and your own team in the same hour without losing what matters.

The household team follows your lead on a guest situation because you've made the right call under pressure before.
